Collection of Tintypes and CDVs, including Southern Backmarks

Lot of over 50 tintypes and 30 CDVs, plus 8 circa 1940s prints. The tintypes range from sixth-plates to gem size, all portraits of men, women, children, or couples, with the featured piece being a fine ninth plate of three men raising their drinks at a small table. The CDVs are from various photographers, many from Brooklyn, and many related to each other as evidenced by the verso inscriptions. Also, there are several CDVs featuring rare Kentucky backmarks, including Bergman of Louisville, Excelsior Gallery of Louisville, Brown's Gallery of Hopkinsville, E.L. Foulks of Hopkinsville, and R.A. Marshall's Gallery of Hartford, KY.
