Lot includes: a folio of eight Soviet War Posters, reproduced by Russian War Relief, Inc., ca 1942-1945, with a foreword by the Director of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, each 13.4" x 16.4", with text in Russian in the upper margin and English in the lower; and an album of 12, also produced by the Russian War Relief, Inc., titled Meet Some of the Soviet People, each 19.75" x 13", some credited to Margaret Bourke-White (American, 1904-1971), the first foreign photographer permitted to document Soviet industry and the first female war correspondent.
