Terrific Oversized Quarter Plate Daguerreotype,
2003 Americana May 8-9.
anonymous, 3.5 x 4" plate in an embossed leather case. A great studio image, with a solar reflector making a strange mottled "saucer" over the heads of the three sitters. Provenance:
Brasseur Collection of Cased Images

Condition:
Plate resealed, case with detached cover. Light mat abrasion along left edge, one bit of corrosion at lower left.
Est $500 - $700
