in elm. With 2 doors up top and 2 drawers below, with carved returns, and with brass hardware. The interior of the upper section has 2 drawers over shelves over a lower storage area. Retains its original red-lacquered surface with gilt decoration. Shanxi Province, mid-19th century; 77.5" high x 49.75" wide x 23.75" deep.
