Jedediah Huntington (1743-1818). General in the Continental Army. Noted for his actions at Bunker Hill and a founder of the Society of the Cincinnati. Manuscript pay order, 6.5" x 8.5", dated April 13, 1781 at the Pay Table Office, for 19p 4s to Major Amasa Mills. Signed J Huntington over the signatures of two committee members, and also signed by treasurer John Lawrence.
