[Civil War-Cased Image] Half Plate Patriotic Tintype of Union Soldiers with American Flag, in Fine Washington Case

A half plate tintype of two enlisted men posed on either side of a small table draped with a tinted American Flag, which looks to be tattered. Housed in an excellent patriotic half plate Washington Monument union case featuring the equestrian statue of George Washington at the statehouse in Richmond, Virginia, erected in 1858.

Condition:  
Tintype with noticeable vertical wipes, tarnishing at mat edges, not affecting subjects. Case with two very minor chips, VG+.
